There are few campsites with nice shade like these. It is no place for gigantic rigs that need generators to run microwaves and ACs. Seasonal springs and streams occur in the canyon bottoms, with a few perennial springs that support riparian habitats. LockA locked padlock Really nice 4 mile hike is the Pine Tree Trail, a loop taking you up in the foothills for spectacular views. Take U.S. 70 for 14 miles east of the I-25/U.S. Considerable cloudiness. The reliability of the situation is relatively good. All in all it was a great experience. All sites have a shade shelter, picnic table, grill and tent pad. No problem pulling our 24 ft TT into the CG, although less than half of the sites in the upper loop (sites 1-32) would be large enough for us to fit. Visitors may find numerous amenities toilets, clean potable drinking water, and a comfy place to pitch a tent. Entrance gate hours: March - Nov. 7 AM - 8 PM and Nov. - March: 8 AM - 6 PM. The spaces are tight so you have to watch your rig backing in.
